The phone is fastest. Tell me what you need or what has stopped working and you get a price and a time slot right away. If writing suits you better, there is WhatsApp, Viber and email — all fine in English.
If I do not pick up, I am on a job. When I am on a roof, in a cherry picker or with tools in both hands I cannot answer the phone. Send a message describing the problem and I will call you back as soon as I am down.

For genuine emergencies I come out outside working hours too — a unit dying in the middle of a heatwave, in a flat with a baby or an elderly person, cannot wait until Monday.

A fair share of calls get solved in two minutes on the phone, with no visit and no charge. Try these before booking a service — if it helps, you have saved both time and money.
Check the breaker in the consumer unit and whether the unit has power at all. Then change the batteries in the remote — in a surprising number of cases that is the whole fault. If the remote works and the unit ignores it, then it really is a service job.
Take the filters out, rinse them under lukewarm water, dry them and put them back. Check that nothing is blocking the outdoor unit — branches, a shutter, or built-up dust. If it still cools poorly, it is probably short of refrigerant, which means it is leaking.
Usually a blocked condensate drain. Switch the unit off so the water stops running down the wall and furniture, and call — it is a quick job. Do not push wire into the drain, it punctures the tray easily.
If none of that helps, call and tell me what you have tried — with that I usually know the problem already and turn up with the right part, so it gets finished in one visit.
